Zhao Jiang 赵江

In myth — Investiture of the Gods · Classic of Mountains and Seas

Zhao Jiang was a disciple of the Jie Sect on Jin'ao Island. He descended the mountain to set up the Earth Fissure Formation to block Zhou. During the battle to break the formation, he was captured by the Chan Sect's Juliu Sun using the Immortal Binding Rope, and was hung high on the reed canopy as a public display. Later, during a melee between the two armies, he was beheaded by Zhou general Wu Ji with a single stroke.
