Eldest son of King Zhou of Shang, fled after his mother Queen Jiang was killed, and was rescued by Chi Jingzi. When descending the mountain, he was persuaded by Shen Gongbao to defect and help Shang, ultimately dying by the plow, and was appointed as the God of Tai Sui (Jupiter) in charge of the year.
